Well not only do I now know the biggest selling liquor brands in the world, but I have also been schooled on the drinking culture of many a nation, with there being some real curveballs to this list.

When you factor that this is still mostly drank in South Korea then things become even more crazy with this number 1, although Korean soft power has meant much of South-East Asia treat this as a national liquor.
This does though at least put the whole Soju vs Sake question to bed, with the overall assumption being that of you have not already then you really should start to drink soju.
