Siem reap is one of those beautiful cities where most every hotel has a swimming pool. And not just hotels, with there also being good water parks, such as Water Park Khna.
Located slightly on the outskirts of the city this place is not only super great value, but will likely find you the only “barang” in the joint. From the layout to the grounds, the food and of course the pool this is a proper rugged Khmer style day out.

Getting to Water Park Khna
By Siem Reap standards this place is out in the boonies, but in reality it takes 30 minutes to actually get here. Therefore you will need to take a Grab or better still rent a TukTik for the day. Realistically this can be done for around ten bucks a day.
From what I have seen at least, on my two trips there are not usually that many TukTuk’s waiting for people ousted.
Water Park Khna Siem Reap Cost
Its around a dollar for little people and two dollars for big people to come in and swim, with you being required to buy tokens before coming inside. Said tokens can also be used for buying food.
Food wise it is all about Khmer classics here with there being a real street food feel to things. Lot os veggies, onions, pork and the like and eaten with chopsticks. It is though super cheap, with beers costing just a dollar. If you are of the western persuasion and need a burger or a hot dog then alas you are shit out of luck. As I said this is truly a Khmer affair.
And the facilities?
This is very much a family friendly affair with there not being much of a pool if you want to do lengths. Think a family version of Onederz Kampot.
Essentially there are 3 main pools, one of which is very much a kids pool with small slides and a big bucket that dumps on your head every 5 minutes You can guess the urine content here is pretty high.
The other two pools are linked to the 5 waterslides, which while only being straight riders are still pretty good and at least keep the pickles
And that is the Water Park Khna Siem Reap a pretty decent way to spend a day out in the city.
